Bill Bevans began his career in organization development in the Sixties, before it even had a name. He was among the pioneering heretics who believed and taught that people…

  • work best in organizations that respect and value their individual uniqueness and self-motivation.
  • can work better collaboratively, in teams.
  • support what they help to create.
  • possess enormous untapped creativity and ability to achieve worthwhile organizational goals.

At General Foods, he became the Director of Organization Development in the Seventies and a Vice President of Human Resources and Communications in the Eighties. He has served as a Board Member for the Organization Development Network. Since 1994, Bill has coached executives and leadership teams at CoachWorks Farm to improve their performance together. He specializes in guiding teams who are leading transitions and transformations.

His knowledge and experience are broad based including organization design, career counseling, executive development, leadership training, team development, labor relations, compensation, work restructuring, and performance management systems design. Drawing on that experience, he has developed a new model for improving organization effectiveness.

Bill now guides organizations in the exploration and discovery of their unique way of flourishing together. He believes in the importance of valuing your individual and team strengths and using them as the foundation for your growth and performance improvement. He knows that your organization improvement requires leading change, and that challenge requires the focused energy of your team.

About his retreat center, CoachWorks Farm, he says, "At last, I have the learning place that perfectly reflects my purpose and process."
